You only see people you've been introduced to: whoever invited you, anyone you share a group with, and anyone who has opened your connect link.
Messages are kept until someone deletes them. Attachments are kept for 30 days.
Messages disappear after a short time, so it matters that you hear about them. With notifications on, your phone tells you the moment someone writes — even when the app is closed.
Notifications never show what was written, only who wrote to you.
Sends wait here if there is no signal and go out by themselves when it returns. Downloads run two at a time; tap Save when one is ready.
Searches messages this device has already received. Nothing leaves your phone.
